32” of width gives it loads of stability for a very wide range of bodyweights. Its flat rocker in the rear section keeps it fast and directional – this was the board that Red Air team rider James Bradshaw came third in the non-pro fleet at the 2012 NZ Championships, winning many of his heats along the way against $4000 carbon racing machines. Yet it has enough nose rocker and curve in the planshape to be great fun in the waves too. If you're not sure what you're going to be doing with your paddleboard, then the 10'6 makes the choice real simple, as it does everything, and does it easy.

The board has three fins, heavy-duty leash fixings on nose & tail, and cargo fixing points on the bow. All Red Air boards now come with an exceptionally high quality carry bag, with proper rucksack straps, hip belt and wheels, a repair kit (not that you'll need it but better safe than sorry), and a very powerful especially-designed hi-tech pump fitted with a pressure gauge so you know when you’ve got enough air inside. It only takes 3-4 minutes to fully inflate the board with this pump - awesome! A 12v electrical pump is also available, and we'd recommend that if you do choose to operate the board at pressures of 25psi+
