My elderly neighbour brought this little beauty in a doll auction.She paid a pretty price but justified that because she said boy dolls are not as common as girl dolls and i guess she is right. He is only 26 cms (10 inches) tall his eyes are painted his stamp is hard to read can make out a star like the star of David with K and R each side of it and other writing above that which is hard to read but the number 101 is very clear,after googling this little chap he is a Simon and Halbig doll,or should i say reproduction simon and Halbig.These cost well over $100 to make,they are heirloom dolls not cheap mass produced like you used to see at the supermarket., The complete doll arms legs and body is all porcelain.No damage on it.
