About the Role
Night shift refueling and operating support for heavy machinery on large construction project.
Responsible for ensuring machinery is refueled correctly and on time while maintaining high health & safety standards.
Work involves climbing up and down machinery — you must be physically fit and comfortable with this.
Strong focus on safety
Hours
5pm – 1am (approx.), Monday to Saturday
Likely to settle into Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays (to be confirmed with the successful applicant)
What We Offer
Fixed-term contract for the duration of the project (expected multi-year role).
Competitive hourly rate $25–$30 p/h.
Opportunity to gain a Class 4 licence down the track.
Training and support provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
Strongly prefer candidates reside in the Horowhenua district.
Current Class 2 licence preferred. We will support the right candidate to obtain their Class 2 if they do not have it.
Physically fit and able to climb machinery repeatedly.
Reliable, safety-focused attitude and good work ethic.
Previous experience in construction, driving, or refueling is an advantage but not essential.
