We are excited to announce the opening of our new restaurant later this year.

We are currently seeking passionate and motivated team members to join us on this exciting new venture. Our restaurant will be an izakaya-style Japanese dining restaurant, offering an authentic Japanese food and cultural experience.

Positions Available
Sushi / Sashimi Chef ($49,920 annual salary)

Requirements:

Previous experience in Japanese cuisine
Strong knife skills
Experience preparing:
Sushi
Sashimi
Nigiri
Sushi rolls
Fish filleting and portioning
Strong knowledge of seafood handling and food safety standards


Ramen Chef / Yakitori Chef ($49,920 annual salary)

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Japanese kitchen environment
Ability to prepare:
Ramen broth
Sauces and tare
Noodles and toppings
Ability to manage food preparation and service during busy periods
Experience preparing dishes such as:
Yakitori
Karaage
Tempura
Donburi
Grilled fish
Tapas-style sharing dishes
Salads and side dishes

The ideal candidates will have experience in Japanese cuisine and the ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently. Training will be provided where required.

Knowledge of Japanese culture, customs, and language would be an advantage.
