We are now looking for an Automotive Mechanic and/or Service Technicians to join one of our busy workshops located in the North shore, Central Auckland and South Auckland.

We are accepting interest from Mechanics and Service technicians for which we provide wide-ranging work available.

A current WOF authority is not essential but would be a big plus.

You will need to be reliable, have an outgoing personality, be keen to learn new things, be able to see a job through to completion and work well in a tight-knit team. You'll be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on weekdays between 8:00am-4.30pm, additionally Saturday work hours are 8:00am-2:00pm and paid at time and a half. Saturdays are rostered 1 on 1 off.

Main responsibilities are;
• Able to carry out a range automotive servicing, general maintenance, and automotive repair work on all types of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
• Able to perform diagnosis of vehicle faults using suitable and appropriate equipment to determine the nature and required repair work to remedy the faults.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers to simply inform of issues with vehicle, what parts and or work is required, advise of pricing and timeframe and any other matters.
• Able to carry out and perform set work within industry, generally accepted and agreed timeframes.
• Maintain a high-quality level of work standard with minimal faults.

The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:

• Be fluent with written and oral English
• Be a reliable, hard worker with a positive attitude
• Enjoy dealing with people
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Currently live in New Zealand

The remuneration for this role is depending on skill levels, qualifications and experience.

Applicants for this position will need to be living in New Zealand and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. We are an accredited employer with Immigration New Zealand.
