About the Role
We manage over 100 properties from 1 bed studios to a lodge that sleeps up to 24 guests.
These are long-term positions, with shared staff accommodation available.
Duties Include
Full cleaning and servicing of holiday homes and houses in Tekapo and surrounding areas. As well as commercial cleaning, window and carpet cleaning.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that our high standards are adhered to in every home.
Presentation of the houses is to the set standard
Window cleaning as required/Rubbish bins out for collection
Care for linen and other amenities/ air con filters cleaned
Cleaning of inside holiday home including bathrooms daily
Responsible for the cleaning of the company vehicles when required
Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all cleaning equipment
Other duties as directed
Driving company vehicles – Full New Zealand or International Licence required (not compulsory, but will not be able to drive without this).
Minimum Requirements:
NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or AQF Certificate II or III or at least 1 year of relevant experience in housekeeping or a related role.
Physically fit for a hands-on, active role.
Full driver's licence valid in New Zealand is preferable.
Must be legally able to work in NZ (AEWV applicants welcome).
Willingness to live in Lake Tekapo and work weekends/public holidays.
Role Details:
Type: Permanent, full-time (minimum 30 hours per week).
Pay rate: Minimum rate $24.50 - Maximum rate $28.50 per hour.
Hours: Rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays (two rostered days off per week).
