NZ Civil is a small team with a big heart for our people. We take pride in delivering high-quality mahi on projects across the Horowhenua, Manawatu, and wider lower North Island regions. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Truck Driver / Operator to join our growing team.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced truck driver with a strong background in civil construction and cartage operations. The role will primarily involve operating tipper trucks on civil projects, however we are particularly interested in applicants who are multi-skilled and willing to jump on machinery when required.
Work may include both day shift and night shift operations, depending on project requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
? Current Class 4 Licence (Class 5 preferred but not essential)
? Minimum 3 years proven experience operating on-road tipper trucks
? Experience with paving operations and general civil cartage
? Strong understanding of safe truck loading, transport, and site operations
? Multi-skilled operator preferred, with experience operating machinery such as:
? Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
? Good communication skills and professional attitude
? Drug and alcohol free – must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
? Local to Horowhenua preferred
