Support Workers - Levin

Care on Call is passionate about supporting people in the community and we take pride in the personalised service we deliver to clients and the staff we work with.

We have clients needing some help around their home, companionship and support with their daily activities in Levin and surrounding areas.

You will join an existing supportive and caring team who look after our clients with their daily tasks. This includes but is not limited to:

• Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing)
• Passive exercises and stretches
• House work and meal preparation

We believe in providing consistency of care and are ideally looking for people who can occasionally pick-up hourly shifts on an ad hoc basis, including some weekends. (although not necessarily every weekend).
What We're Looking For:

• Physically fit support workers with experience
• Patience, resilience, and a strong commitment to your role.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively and take detailed notes.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
• L2, L3 and L4 health qualification essential
• Previous experience is a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in NZ.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience as a caregiver or support worker
• Is energetic, takes initiative, and is dependable.
• Is punctual, honest, and caring.
