We're looking for an experienced Storeperson to join our client's team in Levin. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established, family-owned business where your skills, reliability, and contribution will genuinely make a difference.

If you have experience in a warehouse or stores environment, have a forklift licence, and enjoy a role that combines hands-on warehouse work with stock control and administration, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong focus on safety, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock and receipting it into the ERP system.
• Assisting with stock control, regular stock takes, and maintaining FIFO stock rotation.
• Ensuring stock is stored safely and remains in saleable condition.
• Picking orders for dispatch and providing administrative support to the branch.
• Working closely with the Store Manager, Branch Manager, and Head Office to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Supporting the wider team wherever needed to ensure customers receive excellent service.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a steel warehouse, stores, or distribution environment.
• A current New Zealand Driver Licence.
• A current Forklift Licence with F endorsement.
• Good computer skills and confidence using inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised.
• A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to get stuck in.
• Someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
