This is a 1 year fixed-term maternity leave cover, full-time (Monday–Friday) position, starting in August.
Our Centre is a converted home with a warm, cosy atmosphere. Families often describe us as their “home away from home.” We are committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where tamariki feel safe to explore and lead their learning.
Our Kauri room supports tamariki as they develop communication skills, build relationships, and grow their confidence as lifelong learners. They are also preparing for the next step in their learning journey - School! You'll be part of a passionate team of Kaiako who are committed to providing a quality learning environment for all children filled with love and laughter, imagination & exploration.
What We're Looking For:
You will bring:
*BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher certification
*Strong knowledge of program planning, assessment, and evaluation
*A deep understanding of Te Whariki and ECE regulations
*A commitment to quality practice and continuous improvement
*The ability to inspire, guide, and support all tamariki
*The confidence and adaptability to work within a team
