About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will lead a passionate team and be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of Recreation Hotel. This hands-on leadership role involves working closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff to uphold high service standards
- Oversee daily restaurant operations
- Manage ordering, purchasing, and pricing of goods
- Handle cash-ups, reporting, and financial oversight
- Train and mentor front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
What We Are Looking For
- NZ Register Diploma, or at least one year of relevant hospitality experience
- At least one year in a supervisory or management role (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for hospitality with strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities
