Full-time | 35–40+ hours per week

Thoroughbread Foods is an establishedgluten-free bread manufacturerbased in Levin, producing an award-winning range of specialty breads supplied to supermarkets, retailers and customers throughout New Zealand.

We’re looking for areliable, capable and motivated team memberto join our growing production team.

This is a varied role combiningfood production, packing and administration. You’ll work across different areas of our operation, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and takes pride in doing things accurately and efficiently.
The Role

Depending on the day, your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with bread production and manufacturing
  • Operating and assisting with production equipment
  • Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch
  • Checking products and orders for accuracy and quality
  • General administration and data entry
  • Assisting with orders, production records and paperwork
  • Supporting the wider production team where required

Full training will be provided.

  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is organised and able to follow established systems and processes
  • Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Enjoys a role that combines practical, hands-on work with administration
  • Has a positive and team-focused attitude
  • Is physically fit and comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Can work independently and take responsibility once trained
  • Is flexible and willing to help in different areas of the business when needed

Previous food manufacturing or production experience would be an advantage, but isnot essential. We place a high value on reliability, attitude and willingness to learn.
What You Need

  • NZ residency or unrestricted right to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship available)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Good communication and basic numeracy skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Food safety or food manufacturing experience is an advantage
  • Availability to work Sundays as part of the normal roster

Hours:Typically 8am starts, averaging 35–40+ hours per week, including Sunday work
