About the Role

Are you an experienced RN looking for a role within the surgical day ward?

We have a permanent 0.8 FTE position available.

We are welcoming applications from competent and professional practitioners who will be providing care, and best practice nursing services to our patients that puts them at the centre of everything we do.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team plays an integral part in the peri-operative phase and surgical post operative care, we work closely with theatre, endoscopy, CNS and many of the specialist within health New Zealand Taranaki. We care for patients undergoing a board range of specialities in a high turnover environment. Our priority is to provide professional and exceptional quality nursing care to our patients, their whanau, staff and visitors whilst in our department.

About you

Are you a qualified nurse who is able to practice in New Zealand/ healthcare system who would embrace an exciting opportunity in a beautiful province with fantastic work life balance?

  • Current NZ Nursing Registration and practicing certificate
  • Able to cope with varied workload and work under pressure
  • 2 plus years surgical experience
