THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the team at Pamu’s Aoraki Farm as a Fixed term Dairy Farm Assistant. This is a hands-on dairy role where you’ll be part of the day-to-day running of the farm. We are looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible for a fixed term period.
You’ll work with a supportive team and farm manager, and build your skills across milking, calving, feeding, fencing, moving stock, animal health and caring for the environment.
No two days are quite the same. You’ll have the chance to learn from experienced people, grow your confidence, and keep developing your dairy farming career.
ABOUT YOU
You might already have dairy farming experience, or you may be ready to take the next step in your farming career.
What matters most is that you enjoy working with animals, like being outdoors, and are willing to learn. You’ll be part of a team that supports each other, works safely, and takes pride in caring for the animals, the farm and the environment.
You’ll do well in this role if you:
We’re proud to have a supportive and inclusive culture at Pamu, and we encourage applications from people who share our values – even if you don’t tick every box.

Pamu’s Aoraki Dairy Unit is a certified organic farm has a great location 10 minutes out of Foxton and 40mins from Palmerston North with plenty of recreational activities on the doorstep. We run a 5on 2off roster most of the year with 6on 2off for 8weeks during calving.
BENEFITS
We offer a competitive salary package, with wellbeing and family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave, health and life insurance benefits, and up to 4% KiwiSaver matching. You'll also receive an extra day of leave over Christmas, plus ongoing training and development.
