GENERAL FARM WORKER – DAIRY SUPPORT BLOCK
Full-time position | Manawatu/Horowhenua | House provided
We are looking for a reliable, practical and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team on our dairy support, beef and cropping block.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being outdoors, getting stuck in and working across all aspects of a busy support farm.
The role includes:
Tractor driving, particularly during cropping season
Feeding out silage and other supplementary feed
Raising and caring for young stock
Managing and shifting dry stock
Fencing and general farm maintenance
Stock handling and day-to-day animal care
Supporting cropping and pasture management
General farm duties as required
We are looking for someone who:
Has a good work ethic and takes pride in their work
Is reliable, honest and able to work independently
Has good stock sense and enjoys working with animals
Is confident operating tractors and farm machinery, or is keen to learn
Is practical and willing to turn their hand to a variety of jobs
Has a good eye for detail and takes care with machinery and equipment
Has a current driver licence
Previous dairy support or farming experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. This role could also suit someone with a practical background in fencing, machinery, building, earthworks or another trade, who enjoys working outdoors and is keen to bring their skills to a farming environment.

A house on the farm is provided with the position, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a live-in farm role in a rural setting.
