ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Corporate Account & Technical Services Manager you will be a key member of the Sales Management Team with the responsibility of contributing to the development and implementation of both the Corporate Accounts and the wider Sales team strategy.

As the North Island Key Account Team Leader you will:

  • Develop, implement and drive sales strategies, initiatives and services
  • Be accountable for profitable Corporate Account sales across the North Island
  • Build and encourage a winning culture within your team; high performance, innovative and fun!
  • Provide positive and professional team leadership and coaching
  • Play an active business development role, leading and shaping ' deal teams' together with your corporate Account Specialists
  • Leverage your networks to help build and maintain a strong Corporate Accounts prospect pipeline

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced sales leader with extensive knowledge of the New Zealand rural sector and wider networks. You will be commercially astute with outstanding relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills with the supporting talent to lead and inspire our Corporate Accounts Sales Team.

You understand a good relationship is built on trust and respect. Your strengths will lie in:

  • Sales, Leadership and Coaching: You know how to work with the team to get results.
  • Data Analysis: You have an analytical mind paired with exceptional commercial acumen and your proven influencing skills will be second to none.
  • Innovation: You will be an innovative thinker as you seek solutions to satisfy the ever changing expectations of our key customers.
  • Customer Centric: You understand our customers, and use your networks to look for opportunities before they arise

You will possess excellent attention to detail and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, so as to support the North Island Corporate Account sales team in the development and presentation of professional supply proposals to existing and prospective customers.

As this role covers a large geographical area you will be prepared to travel throughout the North Island to ensure strong connections and relationships with your team and our customers.
