Processing Operator

ZIWI Limited is recognised as a leading pet nutrition company and is setting the standard globally using only NZ locally sourced natural and free-range ingredients. We have a passionate and dedicated team who are incredibly proud of the products we make and love sharing them globally. We are seeking a fun, energetic and reliable Food Process Operator to join our essential pet food business with the Treats and Chews team at the Burnham facility. The person we are looking for will cover the following shift pattern which operates 41 hours over 3.5 days per week.

• Sunday to Tuesday 6.00am to 6.00pm and Wednesdays 6.00am to 1.00pm Required attributes:
• Have a high focus on health and safety
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Reliable, professional and have a positive attitude
• Food production or manufacturing experience
• Be able to work weekends under the shift structure listed, be reliable and a team player
• Is reliable and has transport to get to and from work
• Have a reasonable level of fitness with the ability to stand for periods and lift up to 20kg
• Have excellent communication (written and verbal) Benefits:

• Birthday Leave Previous experience using knives and food production machinery (bandsaw, slicers, mincers) would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
