Company:
Our client is a leading contracting firm known to deliver exceptional quality work. They have a project based in Napier and are looking for an experience operator and a physically fit labourer to join the team. This project will be between 4-6 months long and requires the successful candidates to complete from start to finish.
The Role:
This role requires flexibility as some work will need to be done around operational hours - You will need to be reliable, flexible and follow Health and safety protocols.
Skills and Attributes Operator:
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in time management
- Demonstrated experience with precision work in operating an Excavator.
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on maintenance of machinery and vehicles
- Dependable transportation and valid driver's license for commuting to work
- Possession of current WTR endorsement and Full Driver's License
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various tasks outside of operating the digger.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Test
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
Skills and Attributes Labourer:
- Proficient in time management
- Experience with civil engineering is advantageous.
- Physically capable and demonstrates a positive attitude.
- Possesses reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have legal authorization to work in New Zealand.
Payrate:
Labourer $29.00p/h
Operator $35.00p/h
