Description

Forklift Operator – Katikati Claymark Group limited is New Zealand’s largest manufacturer and exporter of premium pine products made from sustainably managed radiata pine plantations in New Zealand’s central North Island. Employing over 600 employees across six sites.

We are looking for a Forklift Operator for our Kilns infeed in Katikati. The key function of the role is to ensure a continual flow of product to our continuous kilns. Our ideal candidate will have high level of physical fitness and stamina, be able to work long hours and be able to work well under pressure. You will have good understanding of workplace health and safety. Immediate start available.

Key function and duties:

  • Ensure that there is consistent timber flow feeding the continuous kilns
  • Ensure you efficient and safe manner to meet production and dispatch requirements
  • Ensure that all packaged timber is securely and safely stored to avoid damage or injury to product or employees

Person Specifications:

  • A current forklift certificate with F endorsement
  • Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and use initiative
  • Commitment to maintaining quality and health and safety

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6am-4pm
