We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Regional Property Manager to be responsible for a portfolio of Care Homes across the North Island working with the Regional Managers and Care Home Managers to ensure the care homes and villages are maintained in a presentable safe condition adhering to legislative and regulatory requirements to maintain their building warrant of fitness.
Our ideal candidate will have facilities or property maintenance management experience and can work autonomously and within a small team dedicated to ensuring we offer the residents a facility that is their home. Our customers live on site, so you need to work in a way that respects their environment, and any impact work may have on them. We believe in working as a team to create greatness and are looking for someone who is not going to be put off by needing to complete some of the more 'ordinary' work but equally can create something innovative.
Skills & Experience | He pūkenga tou
The role will hold a portfolio of care homes across the North Island so travel to inspect your sites will be required. You will be responsible for the overall facilities management of your portfolio including:
- Building Project management experience
- A trade background or technical qualification desirable
- A strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirements of commercial buildings and BWOF.
- Experience using an Asset Management Software System
- Site Safe or similar H&S qualification and experience managing H&S
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Beginner to intermediate level
- Ability to work independently, yet cohesively with onsite staff around the country.
