Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Yard Metal Buyer/Processor and Cashier. The primary responsibilities of this role will include sorting, identifying, and processing various types of scrap metal, maintaining a safe and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

• Sort, identify, and process different types of scrap metal
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a scrap metal or recycling yard will be advantageous
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to adhering to them
