Diesel Mechanic

THE POSITION We are looking for heavy diesel mechanics with a variety of experience and skills and overall, you would take pride in your quality workmanship. If you are in your 3rd year of your apprenticeship we are also interested in meeting with you. We have a varied modern trucking fleet, and a large fleet of loaders and diggers, including Mack, Volvo, Hino, Isuzu Road Trucks, and Cat and Volvo construction equipment. The role includes both workshop and field service repair work. If you are looking for a position that offers autonomy and provides inhouse work rather than retail, then we want to talk to you.

• Routine servicing
• Repairs and Maintenance
• Breakdowns
• Diagnostic
• Regular hours with over time available
• Working with an experienced team
• The ability to work autonomously.

THE LOCATION This position is based in our Wards Road Quarry in Rolleston.

The successful candidate will be required to comply with Road Metals Health and Safety policies including a satisfactory pre-employment medical and drug test, criminal history check and hold a current drivers licence.
