About the company
Our client is NZ's largest Indian grocery distributor! Importing over 3000 products across different categories ranging from FMCG, Groceries, and Cosmetics while supplying New Zealand.
About the role
A full-time delivery driver with extra hours/days, 48-51 hours per week working Monday to Saturday. You will need to assist in loading and unloading of the vehicle and must be able to lift to 25kg comfortably.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting out pallet deliveries
- Container Devanning
- Delivering goods to nearby cities such as Rotorua
- Maintaining the truck
- Manual Loading and Unloading
- Assisting with warehousing
- Maintaining an accurate log book.
Who you are.
- Reliable with excellent time management and a work ethic to stay on schedule
- Current Class 2 Driver License
- Must be able to drive a manual vehicle
- You have a knowledge of Indian products and spices
- You have great communication and interpersonal skills
- You have a good level of fitness and mobility, you also have the ability to lift up to 25kgs
- A Team player! Willing to assist with loading/unloading/warehousing/associated duties
