Your new company:
This Auckland-based food manufacturer are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead their experienced team based in Wiri. If you are looking for a new role where you will take responsibility for a team and be encouraged to introduce your own plans/ processes, this could be the role for you! Although this role does not require you to work on the tools daily, you would be expected to take ownership and jump in to help your team when needed. This will also include on-call hours.
Your new role:
- Manage a team of 4 working over 24/7 shifts
- Main contact for onsite client
- Manage maintenance and operations for all automated material handling systems
- Main site contact for all operational and technical issues
- Implement team and process improvements
- Manage site incidents on a 24-hour basis
- Work closely with senior management on day-to-day operations
What you'll need to succeed:
- Must hold a mechanical or electrical certificate
- Previous work experience in a similar environment
- High performing team management experience
- High H&S standards
- Experience working with customers and subcontractors
- Previous experience working to KPI's, reporting & planning maintenance
