About the role

We have an amazing opportunity for a customer centric Phone Sales Consultant to join our Phone Sales team in providing superior service and advice on Southern Cross Health Insurance and Critical Illness products to prospective members.

You will play a key part in supporting the Society's growth by working closely with the team to achieve set targets and ensure that KPI's are met.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound and scheduled outbound calls on a daily basis and will manage a pipeline of sales leads generated from both inbound consumer calls and outbound corporate sales leads.

About you:

  • Proven strong ability to achieve sales targets in a corporate environment
  • Passion for providing outstanding service that has been proven with at least 2 years in a customer centric role
  • Excellent spoken and written English including a clear telephone voice
  • Strong relationship skills and good team player
  • Knowledge in health, insurance/financial services industry
