This exciting & rewarding role is based in the Kapiti area and will suit those who love an active, busy role.
Rapid Relief Support Workers:
- Provide relief to our support worker teams in the Kapiti area, and Greater Wellington region.
- Play a critical role in our organisation - being called on to attend clients with short notice, this ensures no Tangata go without their cares. As a Rapid Relief Support Worker, no two days will be the same!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being ready & willing to work during your agreed working days
- Be flexible within a team environment - you will be called at a moment's notice to attend client cares
- Providing personal cares: Grooming, showering, bowel and urinary cares
- Facilitating mobility - Support rehabilitation and independence in the home
- Provide a friendly and supportive service to our multi-cultural client base
- Providing complex cares to our high needs and serious injury tāngata
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting people with complex cares is preferable, however full training will be provided
- Must be confident to provide care to tāngata with complex or challenging behaviours
- Reliable transportation and a current Full or restricted NZ driver's license
- Must be available to work weekends and/or other peak days/times
- Level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate
- Must possess absolute honesty, reliability, and integrity
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Pay rates from $26.94 - $29.10 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. As per the pay equity claim.
