Silver Fern Farms Hawera employ 650 staff at the height of the season contributing to employment in our local community.
We are seeking our next experienced Engineering stores person to assist the wider Engineering team with managing their inventory, procurement and maintaining engineering compliance for the site.
The role:
- Roster: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday when required
- Hours of Work: 6am to 3pm
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring plant has resources required to maintain equipment.
- Assist with planned maintenance to minimise plant equipment failure.
- Assist, track and coordinate contractor management.
- Procure parts for existing machinery and equipment.
- Manage documentation and reporting of various engineering records to ensure compliance.

Key Requirements:
- Experience in relevant role with proven background in engineering or similar environment.
- Familiar with computerised inventory systems
- Previous exposure working in manufacturing environments.
