Experienced Multi Skilled Operators – Hawkes Bay

Goodman Contracting is looking for Experienced Operators for both our motorscrapers , dozers and excavators to join a GOOD team doing GREAT projects!

For over 40 years we've worked in the Bay doing all sorts of specialized bulk earthworks and due to an increase in work load, we are looking for great can-do people.

You would be involved in completion of:

• New forestry roading construction and maintenance with an experienced team;
• Subdivisions ranging from medium to large for private developers;
• General earthworks projects around Hawke’s Bay.

Your new team of around 90 staff enjoy the challenges of big earthmoving projects, the great Hawkes Bay lifestyle and the professional development of a high performing team. You will continue working through winter, be paid travel time and have guaranteed weekly hours plus free employee health insurance after 6 months of continues employment.

We are looking for experienced forestry roading operators to work with our forestry roading crews, who is a practically minded person and ideally you will have the following:

• Demonstrated experience in civil construction as a machine operator
• A desire to work positively in a team environment
• A class 2 licence with WTR endorsements (machine operators)
• To be able to base yourself in Hawkes Bay
• Be a New Zealand citizen or hold a New Zealand Residency Visa
