What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with site set up and clean-up - fair level of physical fitness needed.
• Working on the stop/go paddle.
• Clear and concise communication on radio transmitters.
• Keeping the traffic flowing safely by watching, setting up barriers, signs and cones.
• Talking to the public, explaining the work being done.
• Providing safe workspaces for road workers, helping pedestrians and answering questions from local residents.
• Navigating the traffic and pedestrians around sites.

To be successful, you need:

• Current TTM / TMO or STMS certification is preferrable but training can be discussed.
• High regard for Health & Safety and remain calm under pressure.
• An eye for detail and can follow instructions/has initiative.
• Great time management skills.
• Enjoy variety and working in a team environment with a range of people.
• To be reliable and easily contactable.
• Have positivity and motivation and a willingness to learn.
• Reliable transport.
