You will collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Chef at the defence force site. The role is suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality, flavour, and presentation. You'll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.
The Position:
- Full time hours
- Prepare high quality buffet style bulk cooking for a variety of service times including breakfast, lunch or dinner, desserts, and functions.
- Maintain all catering controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction.
- Support kitchen efficiency with goods receiving stores and cold room controls.
- Drive exceptional service when interacting with our customers.
Is this you:
- To perform extremely well under pressure
- Experience with bulk cooking in an industrial kitchen- you will be cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to 250 people.
- A good understanding of dietary requirements and food safety and hygiene.
- To be honest and reliable, hardworking and trustworthy
- To work well in a team environment
- Who have at least one year's experience
- Able to pass MOJ, Defence Clearance form and Drug test
