Compliance Officer

Based at the Toyota New Zealand Thames Vehicle Operations, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that Thames Vehicle Operations sites comply with current New Zealand legislation and meets all regulation and Toyota New Zealand policy standards.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

All Regulatory, legislative, company policy and ISO Site Compliance

• MPI Transitional Facility Compliance.
• ISO 9001 & 14001 Compliance including audits
• Location Compliance Certification,- Dangerous Goods
• Health and Safety compliance – Hearing & Lung function testing, PPE fit testing, Sound level checks
• Document controller
• Compliance planning preparation & risk assessment.
• Ensuring that Toyota New Zealand Thames Vehicle Operation sites are compliant with current regulatory, legislative, company policy and ISO.

About You:

As the person responsible for compliance and regulation administration at Toyota New Zealand Thames Vehicle Operation sites you will naturally enjoy staying up to date with legislation changes and you will be able to apply those changes to Thames Vehicle Operation sites compliance standards and processes. You will be someone that is focussed on attention to detail while also having the ability to think outside the square and can logically work through any compliance or regulation issues.

• Ideally, you will possess a general understanding of the industry's standards and regulations/legislative requirements (desirable but not essential).

Able to make sound, logical decisions through the application of rules and regulations.
