At Y Outdoors we deliver a full programme of outdoor activities, holiday programmes and camps to school groups, as well as running programmes from Duke of Edinburgh right through to family camps. Check out our Y Central website to find out more.

This is a newly created position to bring outdoors expertise and leadership to help keep us at the top of our game. Our seasonal team is well equipped to deliver our core programmes, and this position will support that through a mix of programme leadership, training, and maintaining equipment and systems to a high standard.

If you’ve previously been a Senior Outdoor Instructor but are looking for a little more, this could be the job for you.

Our ideal candidate might be a bit of an outdoors “all rounder” but will definitely be:

• Qualified to run high ropes and rock-climbing activities – to rescue level competence
• Familiar with outdoors safety standards and systems
• Enthusiastic about working in a kids focused environment, developing programmes that support them to thrive
