COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN

Due to our continued growth, we have a great opportunity for you to join our strong team as a full-time COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week but we are a flexible employer with employee and subcontractor options available, if you want to work 3 days per week or require school drop up or pick up is fine by us!

Duties

• Oversee multiple sites / projects and ensure adherence to project budgets, timeframes, delivery, etc.
• Ensure that on site instructions from client’s authorized personnel are being recorded and managed
• Management of Electricians/ apprentices on site
• Maintaining site standards to a high level
• Prompt reporting and updates to the Project Manager
• Ensuring work is conducted under correct health and safety guidelines

Skills and Experience

• Valid EWRB license
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Current and unrestricted Driver’s License
• 3 years minimum experience as a qualified Commercial Electrician
• Relevant work exposures to working on a range of electrical construction projects (i.e. Commercial Fit outs, Lighting, Maintenance, Data Cabling, CCTV and Security Systems) with a successful track record of running project sites, work teams and subcontractors
• Adheres to a high standard of workmanship
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
