Site Engineer - Auckland Harbour Bridge

The Role

We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to assist in the delivery of maintenance and renewal projects on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction methodologies and works packs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist with the management and direction of construction and maintenance activities.
• Inspection and testing to ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance and continuous improvement.
• Provide input to resolve technical problems as they arise.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Comfortable working at height on a construction site.
• The ability to work collaboratively with both field staff and designers to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
• A positive attitude and a self-starter.
