Exciting opportunity for a skilled Drainage Foreman
Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Immediate start
About our client:
100% New Zealand owned and operated, our client is a well-established civil engineering firm, dedicated to shaping the infrastructure of our cities covering both land and water projects. Recognised for their expertise, they have collaborated with local government, Iwi, and tangata whenua, to successfully deliver numerous projects of public and cultural significance to Aotearoa.
Here is your opportunity, to make a meaningful impact to the community by contribution to complex infrastructure projects, including large-scale watermains and 3 waters initiatives.
The role:
We are looking for an individual with exceptional initiative to lead a diverse team of 8-10 members, comprising of operators, drainage workers, labourers, and truck drivers. We seek a versatile foreman with a broad range of experience, who is adaptable and ready to take on any challenge. As a team leader, you should possess the determination and autonomy to step up when needed and actively participate in hands-on tasks such as laying pipes and installing manholes. In your role as foreman, you will conduct toolbox meetings, providing guidance to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to schedules. Problem-solving skills, a solution-focused mindset, and a positive attitude are essential attributes for success in this role.

To be successful, you will have the following:
- Class 2
- WTR endorsed
- Confined spaces qualification
- Relevant drainage or industry experience
