Project Manager in Construction

We are looking for someone who has a background in Construction with motivation to fill the position of Construction Project Manager to run our smaller projects such as Insurance, Enable, Kainga Ora, meat works and local rest homes.

This position requires to be a super star in multi-tasking and to be able to be responsible of multi projects at one time whilst still pricing projects coming in.

It is important that you either already reside in Wanganui or planning to relocate.

About The Role:-

• Pricing & Tendering Projects
• Checking construction plans and build forms, signing approvals for construction.
• Coordinate Subcontractors.
• Ensure current work is being completed on time and within budget.
• Deliver superior results for clients, exceeding expectations and consistently delivering exceptional outcomes.
• Resourcing. Manage resources, ensure there are enough materials on site and accommodate for changes.
• Attend Weekly management meetings.

About You:-

• Background in Construction is a MUST!!!
• Being a Qualified Builder is preferred but not essential.
• Having history of being a Project Manager before will be a bonus
• You have strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Competent in Microsoft 365. Knowledge of SimPRO Software would be beneficial but not required.
• NZ Full Drivers Licence
• You have a can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for clients
• Enjoys working in a team environment.
