Sign Maker/Production Worker

Traffic Signs NZ Ltd is a major supplier of road traffic signage and equipment to the New Zealand roading industry.  Our head office is based in Mount Maunganui with a branch in Christchurch.

The production position will involve the physical production of signs using a variety of power tools and machinery. We will train you!

Our hours of work are Monday to Friday approximately 42 hours per week, worked between 7.30am and 4.30pm with overtime as required.  4pm finish on a Friday.

Hourly rates will be discussed at the interview.

Skills and Attributes:

1. Must be agile and prepared to go the extra mile for our customers
2. Ability to learn quickly and problem solve
3. Ability to work at speed, paying attention to detail and quality finishing
4. Excellent hand/eye co-ordination
5. Able to work independently within a production team
6. Able to turn up for work every day and on time

You do not have to have prior experience as full training will be given, although prior manufacturing/production experience would definitely be an advantage.

As part of our policy at Traffic Signs the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a Police check.
