Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction foreman to join our team. As a Civil Construction Foreman, you'll play a vital role in constructing and maintaining civil projects in the drainage and roading space. Your work will directly impact the safety and functionality of our community.
- Oversee and manage construction projects related to roads, drainage, retaining walls, kerb and channel, and footpaths.
- Coordinate work crews, equipment, and materials to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Class 1 driver's licence required. Class 2 and/or WTR endorsements are preferred.
- Proven experience in civil construction, with a focus on roads, paving, and drainage.
- Familiarity with 3 waters systems, including sewer and water main renewals.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
