STMS (EXPRESSION OF INTEREST)

This company is a nationwide and reputable company, who have proven their ability to complete their projects with pace and quality.  They currently have their sights on recruiting several Site Traffic Management Supervisors (STMS’s) to manage several areas throughout Hamilton. As well as the experience and qualifications, they are looking for someone with the “lead by example” attitude and someone who is strict in adhering to their health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce traffic management plans to minimize disruptions and ensure safety
• Oversee the setup and maintenance of traffic control devices, signs, and barriers
• Monitor and maintain compliance with traffic safety regulations
• Train and supervise onsite traffic control personnel
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
• Address and resolve traffic related issues in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in traffic management and site supervision
• Certification in traffic management and a Full Class 1 and 2 New Zealand Driver's License
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Physically fit and strong
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment check
