Description
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a local engineering firm. They complete all heavy fabrication and fitting in their Hornby based workshop. This position will be solely workshop based.
Key tasks:
- Read and understand all drawings
- Heavy fabrication
- MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
- Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
- Minimum 3 year's experience in heavy fabrication
- Be a competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
- Ability to pass welding tickets if required.
- Competent enough to work unsupervised on jobs from start to completion
- Accurately work from technical drawings
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety
