About the role:
- Analysing financial reports to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making
- Develop and manage company budget to align with market performance and strategic objectives
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, staying up to date on changes and implementing necessary adjustments
- Utilise accounting software and reporting tools (eg, Tm1/BI) to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive continuous improvement
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- CA or CPA qualified or currently working towards attaining this qualification
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, statutory legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Experienced with Tm1/BI reporting tool preferred
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment would of an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
