An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Team Leader within our Home and Complex Care division, whose key focus is to support independence and choice for clients in their homes through a person- centred, strengths-based approach.

This is great opportunity for a registered health professsional to take their next step in their career, and move into a leadership role, with the support and guidance from a highly experienced team.

About the Role The role of Branch Team Leader offers a unique blend of leadership, community engagement, administrative and clinical responsibilities.

  • You will oversee the daily operations of our Christchurch branch whilst working alongside and leading a well-established team to ensure clients receive a high level of professional care, as well as ensuring our care staff receive ongoing support and development.
  • You will utilise your network within the healthcare industry to contribute to the successful growth of Life Plus within Canterbury and the wider region and uphold the strong connections Life Plus has established with external providers.
  • You will manage a caseload of home and complex care clients - including completing client assessments, care planning and reviews in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary teams, including attending MDT Meetings
  • You will ensure rostering is completed to ensure client fit, fiscal efficiency and no client left without care.
  • You will manage risk utilising our Quality and Health and Safety framework.

About You

  • You currently reside in New Zealand and are a Registered Health Professional with a current APC.
  • You have clinical knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector, specialising in community health or rehabilitation services, although experience in other areas of healthcare will be considered.
  • You are not only a true professional, but you are also a hands-on team member who has a willingness to engage in any task to ensure the delivery of exceptional care for clients and staff.
