Distinction Luxmore Hotel is a 4 star Hotel located in the heart of beautiful Te Anau township Southland. Comprising of 185 guest rooms, 2 Restaurants and Bars and Conference facilities we have an exciting position available for a Front of House Manager.
Job duties and responsibilities: -Well presented with excellent customer service skills as first & last impressions are key for this role. -Willingness to go the extra mile as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team. -Experience in accounts & group bookings -Positive attitude with positive reinforcement and commitment to team excellence & leading by example. -Previous Hotel/Customer service experience at a managerial level -Current New Zealand Managers license -Computer skills, excel, outlook, word & guest centrix -Experience of a similar role for a minimum of four years -Attend meeting & briefings -First Aid certificate -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hourly rate for this role will be negotiable pending on experience & qualifications
Accommodation will be available for the right candidate .
Hours of work - this is a full time role with a minimum of 35 hours per week available. This is on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday, weekends, school holidays and public holidays will be required to be worked to meet hotel demand.
