Administrator (Nightshift)

 Onsite role, Mt Wellington  Nightshift – Sunday to Thursday 6:00 pm – 2:30 pm.  Permanent, full time  Health Insurance & paid birthday leave

Our Opportunity:

As part of building our nightshift team across Inshore operations we are looking for a Fish Reception Administrator based in Mt Wellington.

The primary purpose of this Administrator role is to coordinate and efficiently manage processes, systems and documentation for the landing and reception of fresh fish into the factory.

This is a hands-on role, that requires a highly organised, proactive, and diligent multitasker who has a strong attention to detail, is a quick learner and resilient. You need to be able to think on your feet, work well with others and have an excellent work ethic.

Key responsibilities:  Ensure the accuracy of details on Fish Landing Documents (FLDs). – Ensuring the accuracy of Vessel name, Fisher Details, Fin #, Vessel registration, Truck details, Quality Checks, Seal details. – Complete Quality Checks – checking the fish temperature and the fish quality  Ensure reception quality checks for fish and trucks are completed with any issues promptly raised.  Facilitate stock rotation in the chillers to ensure all the products are accounted for as early as possible (FIFO).  Responsibility for the accuracy of the daily stocktake and daily reports.  Back up the data entry person who enters tags information for fish landings as needed  Verifying bin counts against the actual quantity received  Undertake general labouring, bin lifting, bin moving as required to perform your task.  Follow, and support all food safety and LFR procedures and all duties as prescribed by Risk Management Programme and regulations. Comply with MAF and NZFSA regulations.

This is a team-based operations, so you need to enjoy working with others, be able to take instructions and follow process, whilst supporting your colleagues and ensuring that every day, you are meeting targets, working to a high level of productivity and keeping each other safe.

What You Will Bring:

You will ideally have inwards good and/or experience within a fresh foods/FMCG and/or manufacturing environment. You will have a minimum of 12 months in an administration role, have excellent systems and Microsoft skills and a knowledge of compliance, food quality and safety procedures.

As a team player, you must be hard working, honest with excellent communication skills. You must be able to work Nightshifts Sunday to Thursday, be eligible to work in NZ, capable of working in cold environments and physically fit.
