Heritage Lifecare has rewarding opportunity available for a casual Caregiver to join our dedicated team at Roseneath Lifecare & Village in Carterton.

• Variety AM, PM, Weekend and Night Shifts available
• Hourly rate of $23.61 - $29.10 per hour

Roseneath Lifecare is a 45-bed Care Home with a 15-unit Village located in Carterton, the heart of the Wairarapa. Our team comes from all around the world and are open and welcoming to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We recognise the Treaty of Waitangi and its importance to Māori and how it applies to the work at Heritage Lifecare. This includes adhering to the concepts of whanaungatanga, whakapapa and manaakitanga when dealing with people to foster an environment where people can work together with ease and understanding.

Skills & Experience | He pūkenga tou

• A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members.
• Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems.
• Minimum NZQA Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification
• Experience within aged care would be beneficial, but not essential.
