- Experience working in Audit, BAS or Financial Services industry.
Our growing and successful investment company requires a senior Financial Accountant to play a critical role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, monthly reconciliation processes, management and board reporting, data analytics and creating dashboards.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the CFO to ensure alignment of financial processes across systems.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation processes.
- Management and Board reporting.
- Consolidate financial statement preparation and support annual audit.
- Improve internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Process borrower and investor discharges in borrower & investor sheets in Xero.
- Process settlement drawdown of funds.
- Process top-ups and extensions for borrowers and investors.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero.
- Process principal repayments to investors and confirm payments.
We are looking for a chartered accountant, proven track record of financial reporting, management reporting and auditing. Experience in property finance or financial services is desirable and solid understanding of reconciliations, invoicing, and payment processes. In return you will work for a fast growing business with the opportunity to help grow a team and mentor junior finance staff. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, build processes and assist with a system implementation.
