Find are exclusively partnering with a well-known not-for-profit organisation based in Lower Hutt who are looking for a technically strong Senior Accountant who enjoys variety to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a broad and rewarding part-time role (24 to 30 hours/week). You'll lead core accounting functions, manage relationships with auditors, and ensure accuracy across AP/AR. You'll also play a key role in supporting programme reviews, helping managers assess outcomes, impact, and financial feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of financial reporting and audit processes
- Hands-on AP/AR support when needed
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports
- Support managers with programme costing, pricing, and impact evaluation
- Liaise with senior stakeholders and the Board
Requirements:
- CA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical skills
- Confident moving between detail and strategic conversations
- Comfortable doing transactional work when required
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience in the not-for-profit / charity sector advantageous but not essential
