This is a well-established manufacturing company based in Avondale, seeking a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Manager within the small, close-knit team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day accounts processes and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day accounts reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivable support
- Payroll processing using PaySource Online
- Maintaining and updating accounts in Xero
- Assisting with month-end reporting and general accounts administration
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc finance tasks as required
About You
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role
- Working knowledge of Xero (essential)
- Experience using PaySource Online or similar payroll systems
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently within a small team environment
- Reliable, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
