Finance Administrator We’re partnering with Tyremax, a trusted name in tyre distribution, to find a Finance Administrator for their Christchurch team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, smooth daily operations, and great customer support.
With over 50 years in the industry, Tyremax has built a strong reputation for quality products, service, and nationwide support through strategically located distribution centres.
About the role You’ll work across a mix of finance administration, reconciliations, incentive processing, and general support tasks - perfect for someone who enjoys structure, numbers, and being part of a collaborative team. This role ensures transactions and reconciliations are completed correctly and comply with business and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Process monthly customer rebates, partnership agreements, and fleet fitter payments
- Complete bank reconciliations, credit card administration, and employee reimbursements
- Maintain accurate financial records and support balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide general financial admin support and ad-hoc reporting
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve queries professionally
About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and people. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in financial administration or similar tasks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP/accounting systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
