All about the job
We are seeking an experienced finance officer who is agile and adaptable and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
In this job you will:
- be responsible for accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- keep the customer at the centre of your thinking and deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
- cover all accounts payable functions for Council as well bringing a positive approach to covering other duties as required
- provide positive and engaging support and training to users on electronic purchasing order processes
All about you
It would be fabulous if you have experience in accounts payable or equivalent finance transaction processing.
You'll need to show us that you:
- have a strong focus on delivering quality customer service and enjoy adding value to the team
- are excellent at analysing data with strong numeric and problem-solving skills
- are detail oriented and ensure a high level of accuracy in your work
- have a positive 'can do' attitude and easily adapt to change
- are super organised, have the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- are tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
